Frasil BM An absolute treasure. My most listened to release this year (released in 2019, but I discovered it in early 2022). I would gladly buy a vinyl release. Simple and evocative, but also complex and pure DS. I love how the singing is acomplished, instant nostalgia arises. Makes me reminisce a long gone, more simple time... I will still listen to it in 20 years and the nostalgia will probably be amplified...

Hayduke X Quiet and contemplative. Subtly epic. We witness this birthing in wonderment.

jeedras I was discovering Dungeon Synth and got stuck on this album. I keep returning to it. It sounds great at night and it brings back memories of the old WoW,

Vandalorum beautiful melodies and chords! the entire album is smooth, emotional and engaging.
Jason Shook

Jason Shook Vaelastrasz finds a comfortable place to set this album among his preceding material. However, to those attuned, it is clear that there is a metamorphosis happening here. And while the title gives the listener a sense of beginning. It is my conclusion that this came paralleled, providing a sense of ending as well. A creation of hooks built for repeated use while conjuring some very grandiose imagery! Well worth your time and coin!
Le Chevaler Mal Fet

Le Chevaler Mal Fet "The Birth of Naxxramas" fits in perfectly with my internal archetype of what dungeon synth should sound like - arcane, contemplative, and ultimately evocative of umbral, dreamlike mystery. Occasionally I feel not merely excitement or enthusiasm for a piece of music but sincere gratitude for the experience that it has proffered. I think this is one of those special records.
